Really a nice book to read。 It’s true people are not truly embracing the atonement of Christ, that’s why there are still sickness in the churches。 People say that miracles don’t happen as compared before the times of the apostles but miracles still happen today to those who has faith as big as a mustard seed。
Samantha,
Wow。 This one was a pretty big read that took a little time for me to get through, but I like those meaty reads that are no nonsense and give it to me straight。 Especially when it's true to God's Word。 Set your faith higher and give this one a go。 Wow。 This one was a pretty big read that took a little time for me to get through, but I like those meaty reads that are no nonsense and give it to me straight。 Especially when it's true to God's Word。 Set your faith higher and give this one a go。 。。。more
J。D。 Jewett,
This book was a huge eye opener for me。 Bosworth, in my opinion, does a great job of backing up the reality of healing with scripture but also explains and refutes a lot of arguments against it with simple wisdom。
Carl Thomas,
This book unlocked healing for me。 Changed my life。

Incredible book! I read it decades ago, and just repurchased it!! Excited to read and ingest it deeply!
Paula Pettigrew,
The most in-depth, Scriptural book on physical healing available to us through Jesus Christ, that I have ever read。 And I have read a few。 I highly recommend it。 But it is dense reading。 Not light reading。

Solid。 Well worth the read。 What does the Bible say about healing? This is a thorough, Biblically-founded answer。

Great book that offers answers to some of the questions we have on healing and why we might not see it today。 Worth the read!

I’m picky about my self-help books and this would not be one I would just pick up by myself。 However, it is not without merit through its discussion of how Christ heals us both body and soul。 Using scripture notations, analysis, as well as first hand accounts of healing; it is an encouraging tome that will help reinforce the power of prayer。 (Evangelical based)

The beginning is a bit repetitive, but keep going。 I have the paperback, but enjoyed the audio version so much more。 Going to be re-reading parts of this book!
Andrew Sturt,
A thorough presentation of Bosworth's teachings on healing。 His use of Scripture is frequently tenuous, so despite the fact this is considered a classic by many involved in Christian healing, I would not particularly recommend it。 A thorough presentation of Bosworth's teachings on healing。 His use of Scripture is frequently tenuous, so despite the fact this is considered a classic by many involved in Christian healing, I would not particularly recommend it。 。。。more

Hang in there! At the beginning of this book Bosworth goes over a lot of the points about believing for healing and it is God’s will to heal everyone。 As I was reading the first part I kept wondering if he was ever going to address some of the obvious passages in scripture that a lot of the ‘faith healers’ seem to ignore。 He did address many of the tough arguments in the later part of his book。 I was frustrated in the beginning, but now that I finished it, I can see that the book was laid out we Hang in there! This is the story about Christ the Healer/Physician。 I believe it to be completely true。 It is a must read for any believer。 Highly recommend。 Especially the last 5 or 6 chapters of the book。 Page turner。 And especially the chapter on which mortals can't be healed。 Primarily those that don't believe, but there are several other reasons as well。 This is the story about Christ the Healer/Physician。 I believe it to be completely true。 It is a must read for any believer。 Highly recommend。 Especially the last 5 or 6 chapters of the book。 Page turner。 And especially the chapter on which mortals can't be healed。 Primarily those that don't believe, but there are several other reasons as well。 。。。more

A question often asked, “Is Divine Healing for everyone?”God is very much more able to heal。 However, He is also much more willing to perfect our healing – He is Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals you (see Exodus 15:26)。It is God’s nature to give us all the blessings of redemption, including physical healing- for He is full of mercy and compassion。Divine healing has been a controversial topic in the Church of today prompting questions such as:1)tIs healing still possible today?2)tHow is a person s A question often asked, “Is Divine Healing for everyone?”God is very much more able to heal。 However, He is also much more willing to perfect our healing – He is Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals you (see Exodus 15:26)。It is God’s nature to give us all the blessings of redemption, including physical healing- for He is full of mercy and compassion。Divine healing has been a controversial topic in the Church of today prompting questions such as:1)tIs healing still possible today?2)tHow is a person suppose to receive Divine healing?3)tCan I receive Divine healing? An almost universal theology which is so fragmentarily preached today is the kind projected by the leper in the Bible。Among all those who sought healing from Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry, we read of only one who had this kind of theology。 This was the leper, who said, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean” (see Matthew 8:2)。The first thing Jesus did was to correct his theology by saying, “I will; be thou clean” (vs。 3)。 Jesus’ “I will” cancelled his “if”, adding to the man’s faith that Christ would heal him, the faith that he would。An important truth to note:Divine healing goes no further than the promise of God。 He does not promise that we will never die physically, but He says, “I will take sickness away from among you and I will give you a full life span” (see Exodus 23:25-26)。Reading the book would help you to explore answers proffered by the author, F。F。 Bosworth to the above questions and many more questions not cited。A better understanding of what was Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” was given in the book。This understanding will help you to disarm every wrong notion about Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” and as it affects us。The book is a classic on the power of Jesus Christ to heal。Go for it! 。。。more

We live in a world that tells us not to believe。 We live in a time, where one with faith is ridiculed or mocked and when evidence of one's faith surfaces: logic is looked to but cannot be found。 The power of God defies all logic and teachings of this world。 If we but believe, our lives would testify to this great truth; that by His stripes we are healed。To Christ be the glory。 We live in a world that tells us not to believe。 We live in a time, where one with faith is ridiculed or mocked and when evidence of one's faith surfaces: logic is looked to but cannot be found。 The power of God defies all logic and teachings of this world。 If we but believe, our lives would testify to this great truth; that by His stripes we are healed。To Christ be the glory。 。。。more

Jennifer,
This is a Christian classic, written in 1924, and has been reissued several times。 Having concentrated my Bible reading in the four gospels over the last year, this book reaffirmed the message that Christ is our healer。 Everyone who came to Jesus in the Gospels was healed。 F。F。 Bosworth experienced his own miraculous healing in Christ, and his sermons which are highlighted in this books are filled with the messages of faith, the importance of repentance and studying the Scriptures。

Greg,
On the evening before I was to go into a minor operation in 2002, I was, in hindsight, overly nervous。 However, my dear friend Sam visited me in my loft in Dallas。 (I actually thought, at the time, that a thing called a penthouse loft, only concrete and brick, meant something real。 So sad to be proud of such a meaningless thing。) We prayed: he gave me this book, the best gift I could have received at that moment。 I came through the operation fine: Sam and other friends visited me often afterward On the evening before I was to go into a minor operation in 2002, I was, in hindsight, overly nervous。 However, my dear friend Sam visited me in my loft in Dallas。 (I actually thought, at the time, that a thing called a penthouse loft, only concrete and brick, meant something real。 So sad to be proud of such a meaningless thing。) We prayed: he gave me this book, the best gift I could have received at that moment。 I came through the operation fine: Sam and other friends visited me often afterwards, and this book was a great source of peace。 My spirituality is different from everyone else's, but at the same time, in a way it is the same。 Samuel had been a marine, he was a graduate of Christ for the Nations Bible College。 He was pursuing his bachelor's degree in business from Dallas Baptist College when he he passed from cancer。 As related to me, his last words to his nurse/friend were something like, "Please help me stand on my on two feet one last time。 " Then he passed。 Sam taught me an important message: there are many definitions to the word "heal。" This review is dedicated to Samuel Joshua Gayton, August 13th, 1982-August 12, 2007。 And on August 12 of 2007, at the age of 25, Sam was indeed healed, but forever。 And I've since appreciated more what really matters in this world: great people who do great things, service men and women who dedicate their lives daily so that we can live freely here in America and hopefully that freedom will extend one day to everyone in the world, and a deep sense that what I can always do, on a daily basis, is simply smile and try to be kind to everyone。 。。。more

Christ the Healer was recommended reading for a class I took at New Hope Ministries in Naples Florida this year。 It was life changing for me and I felt like I was sitting in my Father's lap (and I was in my Almighty Father's lap for sure), and I was sad when I came to the last page, so I've read it several times。 I gifted the book to several of my friends and they say the same about the beauty of the message。 Christ the Healer was recommended reading for a class I took at New Hope Ministries in Naples Florida this year。 It was life changing for me and I felt like I was sitting in my Father's lap (and I was in my Almighty Father's lap for sure), and I was sad when I came to the last page, so I've read it several times。 I gifted the book to several of my friends and they say the same about the beauty of the message。 。。。more
